When you first click onto Genealogy, you are presented with a blank screen. The Main Form.

The first thing you need to do is to create a popup name, you can do this by pressing the Menu button, this is at the bottom right of the screen, Unregistered Version, will go to the Menu Page, to remind you that this has not been Registered, then press Popup. Unregisted users can only fill in one Pop up name.Add new popup name, Surname, Mother & Father's name, when you have filled these in press the Menu button , now press Children button.

Normally you would just press NewDB, but because this has restricted buttons, you need a way in to input your data, so for now press Children. If you tap on the pull down menu represented by a downward arrow near the top, you should see the surname you inputted via the Popup Menu, Tap on this name also fill in at least one of the Mother / Father fields, press OK, you should now be back at the Main Form, with the Surname you inputted displayed

Tap on the Surname displayed to give you access to the first fill in form.

You will notice the Surname filled in for you, as this is also your main search for a surname, continue to fill in the form by Inputting the First Name, Date & Place of Birth, Mothers name and Father's Name.

You then have a choice to input the Marriage Form. Obviously this is the Person we created, and who they married,

If this person has died we need to fill In the Death Certificate Form by pressing Died. Else press OK.

You should have your first entry displayed under the title Surname First Name & Born, Press the First button to change this display to First Name Surname & Born. The Pull down menu at the top of the screen, will list only the surname associated with this name. Tap onto the file that is displayed to open up there information, then press Tree,

You will notice the Mom & Dad's name have automatically been put at the top of the form, you need to fill in the children that this person had, there is room to fit in 14 children by pressing the next button. When this has been completed press the Ok button. Now you have inputted your information it just a matter of how you would like to view this, press Menu. To display a list of options,

If you now press Parents, this will list, a particular persons name along with their Mothers & Fathers name. To narrow your search down use the pull down menu to list only the surname of the person you are trying to find. The important thing to remember if fist input your information, then use the Menu button to View. This is all possible because you have first set up a unique search through the Popup Menu.
